In November 2008,  the Deloitte offices in Ascot Office Park received a revamp to their boardroom, training facilities and recreation area for a stylish, up-market look and feel. Magnetic Storm worked with the contracted Durban-based design team, supplying both new audio visual and video conferencing equipment as well as re-positioning of existing gear for the upgrade.

The boardroom/video conference room which already contained existing projector, plasma screen, and video conferencing facilities was re-designed and the existing equipment integrated with newly installed equipment. The boardroom now included the following solution:

Motorised Projection Screen - 1750mm x 1280mm
Q-bit CSL-811 8" Ceiling mount Speaker
Samson-ZM75 Mixer Amplifier 75 watts
Laptop Sound and Microphone line
Data Projector and Plasma Units were re-installed
The  Polycom  Video Conferencing equipment was re-integrated for the new solution

 

The newly designed training room with modern look and feel was supplied with the following new equipment for an AV Solution that was both modern and practical:

Samson-ZM75 Mixer Amplifier 75 watts
Microphone and Laptop Audio lines
VGA/XGA lines
NEC NP-700 Data Projector - 3000 ANSI LUMEN
DSTV

The staff at Deloitte is sure to enjoy their times in the bar and outside entertainment area. Work in this area mostly involved the re-installation of equipment after renovations. A new audio system with Samson-ZM125 Mixer Amplifier and Quad Industrial speakers was installed.
