Since the very first controversial international concert in SA in 1985 (Paul Simon), Magnetic Storm has been the event partner for the Big Concerts in the Eastern Cape. With Rodriguez, Roxette and Chris de Burgh recently entertaining our city; Magnetic Storm celebrates its lasting relationship with Big Concerts.
“Few businesses can say they have had an uninterrupted client/supplier relationship in the fickle world we live in. So to be able to say we have worked side-by-side with Big Concerts for 31 years is an honour,” comments Magnetic Storm CEO, Glenn van Eck.
Offering an array of support dependent on needs, Magnetic Storm has provided event management, technical assistance, lighting, sound equipment hire and staging when Big Concerts has brought events to the Eastern Cape.
“International acts thoroughly enjoy coming to South Africa, and when we can extent the footprint to the Eastern Cape, Magnetic Storm has never let us down, and always makes coming to the city easier for us,” remarks Attie van Wyk, Executive Chairman of Big Concerts International.
“We pride ourselves on our experiential intelligence in the industry and attribute this to the positive reputation we enjoy with our many long-term relationships. We want to make it easy for Big Concerts to bring international acts to the Eastern Cape and by meeting and often exceeding their needs, we look forward to this relationship continuing in years to come,” concludes van Eck.
